Environment Issues (Unit 7 Ecology Upward Bound)

1.Check the BBC site Nature and Science Page, give a short overview of the page:
- What issues are on today?
- Which of them concern Environment Protection?
- Devide the content into a few sections, entitle them and supply each with 2-3 links to relevant pages.

2. Hit Chemicals 'kill 90bn French bees' story,  scan it, put 4-5 questions to present the main ideas of the article.

Vocabulary work: find  the meaning of the ff via the Internet:

Explore any of the RELATED INTERNET LINKS (to the right of the article) and add some 6-8 new words or expressions to the environment vocabulary list

4. Devide into 3 groups. Choose an environmental issue to your liking. 
Prepare an overview of the problem using stories from this BBC site or use other sites.

Swap the info you have got with your groupmates in the form of a conference.

5. On your own: hit http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/talking_point/3522665.stm and have a word in the discussion
